Hi there!
I’m Anne-Elise! Most people just call me Anne. I’m a stay at home mom to 3 amazing kiddos! We have two boys and one daughter. Brayden is 9 and Camden is 7. Our daughter, Everly is 2 so life is certainly busy! And while life is chaotic enough with three kids, I also find myself forever stir crazy & always have a desire to be creating or designing something.
I had a wedding videography company I ran up until our daughter was born. I was feeling pretty burnt out from being gone every weekend so I started posting some of our home DIY’s on TikTok mid-2020 and they took off way more than I ever expected!

My TikTok page started growing so quickly as people were loving all the different remodel projects we had done in our home. I knew it wasn’t going to be possible to do a home remodel or DIY every couple days so I started organizing my home and making videos related to that which were met with as much love as the remodel/DIY videos! (aside from the occasional internet trolls, of course!) I slowed down on posting after our daughter was born so I could take in those first two, as all moms know, hectic years! Now that she is *slowly* gaining some independence, I’m ready to get back into the creative that I love!

Why I’m Passionate About What I Do
I’ve always had a passion for writing – the novels and short stories I’ve been writing since high school but never actually published anywhere – can attest to this, and I’ve always loved creating videos. Again, the music videos and short films I’ve been making since high school and *thankfully* weren’t published anywhere can attest to this. That is where Iearned about cameras, video equipment, editing programs, etc. I spent my weeknights and weekends learning those, yeah, I was a pretty cool teenager, as you just imagined I bet.
That love of the creative has just adapted to different areas of my life over time. Becoming a wife, mother, and home owner has ignited a creative spark which lead me into the home decor, organization, DIY niche. TikTok popularizing a few years ago was just a bonus for my video-obsessed, nerdy self! I’m so excited to be on here and bring my visions, tips & tricks, and all those mom hacks to life via written words! And maybe an occasional booktok blog post appearance every now and then, because hey, moms need to escape reality every so often and what better way than with your face buried in an enticing book, or blog post! 😉
